First of all, I love your software and only have a couple of items that I would like to recommend for the wish list.
-
Allow us to save effects in order to quickly apply common conditions, such as slowed, poisoned, etc.
-
Allow the effect to end on save instead of # of rounds or at the end of the character/enemy's next turn.
-
Instead of "status" on the Player HUD, maybe we could toggle it to show bloodied when someone drops below 50% HP
-
Update Death to follow 4th edition 3 death saving throws rules (or at least an option to config that way)
-
Allow us to rename Listen, Listen, WIll to Passive Insight, Perception etc.
-
Maybe a Note field at the end of each row that would allow me to keep short notes, such as which mini I am using for this monster, etc.
Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions about these ideas, please let me know.
After running a session, here
After running a session, here are some more thoughts:
This could also be very helpful for marking opponents. For example I could put as an effect "Divine Challenge by Jagger" or "Hunter's Quarry by Som" So I could keep track of who is marked by who.
This also plays back into my #1 above, if you could save these, it would be extremely easy and efficient.
Thanks

Thank you for the compliment!
1. Allow us to save effects in order to quickly apply common conditions, such as slowed, poisoned, etc.
Thank you for the compliment!
This is a really good suggestion, and it is a feature I've been wanting to roll in for quite some time.
2. Allow the effect to end on save instead of # of rounds or at the end of the character/enemy's next turn.
So in other words, are you asking for some sort of menu or button where you just click "Save" on the effect? For that, you can just click the "x" button to dismiss the effect.
3. Instead of "status" on the Player HUD, maybe we could toggle it to show bloodied when someone drops below 50% HP
This is a good suggestion. I will take this into consideration. One of the things I was thinking of doing would be to allow you to define ranges yourself. So 100% could be "Good", %50 could be bloodied, %10 could be "life hanging in the balance", etc.
4. Update Death to follow 4th edition 3 death saving throws rules (or at least an option to config that way)
Okay I admit I have not played 4th ed yet, so I will study up on that and see what I can do. It would be nice to make death/dying rules as general as possible.
5. Allow us to rename Listen, Listen, WIll to Passive Insight, Perception etc.
Well, you're gonna LOVE Turn Watcher version 1.4 then, which we will be releasing very soon. You can make your own columns now, so you are not saddled with those out of date fields.
6. Maybe a Note field at the end of each row that would allow me to keep short notes, such as which mini I am using for this monster, etc.
See the above feature. With 1.4, you can add your own custom fields to put in what you want to. So you can easily have a notes field if you wish.
Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions about these ideas, please let me know.
Thank you for your excellent feedback! We love hearing from our customers in this fashion because it helps improve our product!

Round not showing for you?
-Number 3 above is very important, especially for Monsters. The players (especially the cleric) liked being able to see where the party was in regards to HP. So if there was a way to toggle only show monster health when it hits 50%, that would be great. You could even have the background color turn red to indicate "Bloodied"
-Effects show as "1 of 1" which isn't very helpful to me of the players. Could you allow the name of the effects to be displayed, such as Slowed/Dazed/Poisoned, etc?
This could also be very helpful for marking opponents. For example I could put as an effect "Divine Challenge by Jagger" or "Hunter's Quarry by Som" So I could keep track of who is marked by who.
This also plays back into my #1 above, if you could save these, it would be extremely easy and efficient.
-Another new idea is to show a running tally of which round we are on.
Thanks
You are talking about showing the round on the HUD? We already have that, so maybe I don't understand what you are asking for here?

Oops!
Thanks for responding so quick. I absolutely love your software and appreciate your dedication to add features.
What you could do is on the add effect dialog box, just have a check box that says "Saves Ends" which would leave it until deleted with the X button. (basically disables any round counting)
There are some effects that say "the target is dazed until the end of the Monster’s next turn" or start of Monster's next turn or replace Monster's turn with PC's turn. So basically 4 ending conditions at the start or end of a PC/Monster's next turn.
So you can have it like this:
Ends at [dropdown] start, end [/dropdown] of [dropdown] list of PCs and monsters [/dropdown] next turn
What do you think? Make sense?
I agree with keeping it as general as possible. Here is a snippet of 4ED death rules:
Death Saving Throw: When you are dying, you need to make a saving throw at the end of your turn each round. The result of your saving throw determines how close you are to death.
Lower than 10: You slip one step closer to death. If you get this result three times before you take a rest, you die.
So basically three strikes and your out or you reach negative half your HP. This one isn't that big of deal, so proceed as you like.
Sorry I missed that
Thanks again and please let me know if you have any questions, I would love to help out.
